Web Design Process

We start with coffee. And a good long chat.

Sparkem Studio's web design process begins with an in-depth discussion and review of your goals for your site and what you want it to achieve for your business. It ends with the launch of a new, spiffy website that is built to be an effective tool for you.

Here are the steps of our web design process for creating a great and effective website for you.

We go over your site plan and discuss your goals for your website. We get clarity on what the website is meant to accomplish for you.

We craft a plan to accomplish those goals with your site structure, content, and marketing.

We discuss your content plans and keywords. We can help with content creation if necessary or with structuring your content for the best SEO results.

We create the look and layout of your website to accomplish the goals and delight your customers (and you!).

We merge the structure and the content into the a functioning website.

We optimize the site for speed, SEO, and mobile devices. We test it. Kick the tires a few times. Test it some more until it's working smoothly on all devices.

It is time to pop the bubbly and sail this ship! Your site is launched.

Are We Done?

No! This is just the beginning.  Now it is time to drive traffic to your site. If you need help with that, visit the SEO and Content Marketing pages for more information.

Take the Keys

Now you get to take the ball and run with it. If you need help learning how to use your new site - how to add content, update it, create blog posts - I offer training services as well. And if you would like help with your content updates, I can help craft a plan for that as well, at whatever level of assistance you need. I are here for you after your site launch!

Website Maintenance

Just like your car needs an oil change and a tune up every so often, your website will need maintenance regularly to keep it running smoothly. You don't want your site to get hacked, or stop functioning suddenly, so keep it oiled and tuned up with regular website maintenance.
